Whitening – INCLUDING White & Brite System!

This is the procedure of making teeth whiter, and therefore more attractive. Our office chooses to use a take home method so our patient can control the treatment and effects of the whitening until you reach the desired shade.  Our White & Brite professional strength system whitens easier, faster and better than whitening strips.

White & Brite is a safe and effective revolutionary tooth whitening procedure.  In just a couple of treatments, your teeth will be dramatically whiter. The convenience of White & Brite in comparison to days of using strips or in office treatments makes it the perfect choice for a busy individual. The White & Brite Whitening procedure is simple. It involves having impressions taken from which a laboratory fabricates custom vinyl trays. Then a peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays are worn for approximately 1 1/2 hours, or overnight.  A home fluoride treatment can help with any sensitivity that may accompany tooth whitening procedures. You’ll be amazed by the results!

Veneers

Veneers are a dental procedure in which a covering is placed over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are usually only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or smiling.

The indirect technique usually involves two appointments because the veneers will be fabricated at a dental laboratory. At the first appointment the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are given a temporary covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The laboratory fabricated veneers are usually made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are very esthetic.

Bonding

Bonding usually consists of one appointment.  It involves a chemical bond and the placing of composite resin material on the outside surface of the tooth.  Bonding is usually only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or smiling.
